Updated day-sketch to reliably strip HTML and Markdown when converting task content to plain text (lib/dashboard/day-sketch.js) by using a new stripMarkdown utility in lib/util/utility.js. Added Shift+Up/Down handling to extend selection on the current-hour input. Tests (test/day-sketch.test.js) and AI_CONTRIBUTIONS.md updated. Result: cleaner prefills and improved keyboard selection UX.

Refactor DaySketch by breaking a single large function into focused helpers and updating lib/dashboard/day-sketch.js to handle up/down arrow key navigation between entries. Fixed a bug in components/mood-rating-screen/post-rating-section.js where the mobile mood-rating response message contained the entire array of possible responses rather than one randomly selected entry. Updated the post-rating selection logic to pick and send a single response. This produces correct, concise messages and avoids sending oversized/incorrect payloads to consumers.

Primary changes in lib/clipboard.js with supporting tests (lib/clipboard.test.js, clipboard.between-apps.test.js). Improves paste fidelity and preserves paragraph separation.

Add day-striping to quarterly/monthly templates to support upcoming proposed-agenda functionality. Persist mood ratings in the dev environment (dev/dev-app.js: DEFAULT_MOODS_PATH, read/write/seed/ensure functions and createDevApp moodsPath). Also move dreamtask suggestions to an archived note, hide hidden tasks in agenda, add default dashboard splash and background upload fixes, improve logging and fix tests. Benefit: stable mood data in dev, clearer agendas, improved UX and diagnostics.

Prevent the note title input from snapping the caret back to its pre-save position during edits. Updated selection-tracking logic and note topbar handling (use-selection-tracking.js, note-topbar.js) so in-progress newNoteTitle is preserved and only cleared when names match. Result: stable cursor position while autosaving note titles.

Add lib/dashboard/day-sketch.js — a DaySketch widget that renders a notebook-paper-style planner with one text input per hour (6am–9pm). It loads or creates a "Day Sketch [date]" note, parses lines like "9am: text" into an entries map, serializes entries back to note body, and debounced-saves edits (10s; flush on blur). Pre-fills empty hours from agenda tasks. Enables quick day outlining persisted as dashboard-tagged notes.

Added retry helpers in lib/data-service.js to tolerate eventual-consistency reads and auto-append default months for monthly plans. Rewrote lib/dashboard/mood.js to render per-month mood widgets (quarterly-completion template), reorganize layout/constants, fix timezone/label/sizing issues, update emoji/color mapping and rounding, and add hover tooltips showing full date, times, ratings and notes — improving data reliability and dashboard clarity.

Updated mood-ratings.js to refresh MOOD_RATING_EMOJIS and MOOD_RATING_FLARE_EMOJIS and to completely rewrite MOOD_RATING_AFFIRMATIONS with livelier, more varied copy. Also adjusted descriptor labels (added “Ok” and reordered labels). Pure content/UX change (no logic), improving tone and user engagement when recording moods.
