Developer productivity & satisfaction experiments: candidate survey

GitClear is working to identify an Independent Data Scientist who will design experiments to answer questions like:

* "How measurably does increased use of Slack & Microsoft Teams reduce an individual developer's Diff Delta?"
* "At what rate does Diff Delta per developer scale down as a project ages? What are the attributes of projects defy this trend?"
* "To what extent does adding developers to a team slow down the rate at which any individual developer can evolve the repo?"
* "Can an algorithm like Diff Delta predict the time to complete a ticket better than humans estimating story points?"
* "How does developers self-reported 'happiness' compare to the percentage of code in their repo that is older than 2 years?'"

We are also eager to more generally measure the extent to which Diff Delta correlates with Story Points, and how well a directory with low Diff Delta velocity lines up with the directories a CTO would identify as being high in tech debt.

To get statistically validated answers to these interesting questions, we need to identify companies who would be willing to participate in our research. For companies selected to participate, we will grant a free, 6-month Pro subscription. We hope to have our first three studies underway by the end of December 2020.
